Our journey began in Monsieur Lallemand's French class at Los Gatos High School on the very first day of freshman year...let's just say it was a little while ago.

Life took us on plenty of twists and turns. We even lived a handful of blocks from one another in San Francisco for a time without knowing it—back when you actually had to bump into someone on the street to reconnect.

Then in 2015, we started catching the occasional Giants game together, reigniting a friendship whose roots traced back to those high school days. Over the years, we kept in touch, caught more baseball games or a movie, and somewhere along the way, our timing seemed to fall into place.

Get-togethers became more frequent, feelings grew

and the connection from long ago quietly unfolded into something so lovely and unexpected. Todd likes to say it was all part of a strategic, decades-long plan.

In 2022, we then realized that we were happy and grateful. At that point, we knew what it was - and that's when we started calling it: us.

Finally, we can't wait to start this next chapter together, surrounded by the people we love most. We're so excited to celebrate with you in Sayulita, and even more excited for all the adventures still to come.
